I’m divorced. Can I take communion?
In a word, yes. Even the most amicable divorce is painful and we believe the sacrament gives strength for the journey to full restoration of all relationships. Unlike the Roman Catholic tradition, your divorce does not prevent you from receiving the sacrament of communion and does not prevent you from marrying again in our denomination.
